How BoreDash uses public market and news feeds

Prices come from a public market feed. Headlines come from public RSS. Both are cached. If a feed fails, the page says so.

Every market row, global ticker, category, exchange, and NFT figure on BoreDash is requested from a public market feed by our servers, then cached for about a minute so a rate limit does not blank the board.

If the market feed is rate-limited, we serve the last good cache and mark it stale. If there is no cache, we show an error. We do not interpolate a fake tick.

News is merged from CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, and Decrypt public RSS feeds. We show headline, source, time, and a short summary. We do not republish full articles. Click the headline to read it on the publisher’s site.

Learn pages on BoreDash are original explainers. They do not copy other sites’ article bodies.
